The Arc of Snohomish
The Arc fosters respect and access for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, giving them the power to achieve a full and satisfying life.
We are a part of the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We encompass all ages and all spectrums from autism, Down syndrome, Fragile X and various other developmental disabilities.
Therapeutic Horse Experience
Courageous Connections is a nonprofit organization certified though the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH).
Their mission: "To promote the physical and emotional development of people of all ages and unique abilities through safe outdoor therapeutic experiences with horses."
Work with a Licensed Mental Health Provider and a Certified Equine Specialist for a unique approach to therapy.

Early Intervention & Vocational Services
Sherwood's early intervention programs serve children from birth to three years old and their families. They also support high school and adults with disabilities who are interested in finding employment. This wonderful organization works with families in Snohomish County and Camano Island.
Personalized Swimming Lessons for Children
Danielle Jacobson is located in Lake Stevens and teaches one-on-one swimming lessons to children 6 months and older of all abilities. She has a Master's degree in special education and has been in education for 10 years. This experience has given her even more tools to reach those who struggle to learn or are looking to overcome a fear.

Support and Respite Care
Miracles and Memories Academy is a nonprofit program designed to support families of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They provide community-based respite care and family support and summer camps in Monroe, WA.
